Ashish Gangshettiwar (Sta)

Ashish was a 3rd year Engineering Physics student at Indian Institute of Technology, in Guwahati, when he joined our group for a summer internship in 2014.  He performed analytical and numerical calculations in search of new materials that could host three dimensional Dirac fermions (a higher dimensional generalization of graphene!). At the same time, he managed to visit Montreal, Quebec city, and even skydive.  Ashish returned to India in July 2014 in order to continue with his undegraduate education.
