Disorder driven superconductor-insulator transition: Do Cooper pairs still exist in the insulator?
résumé:
I will discuss our theoretical and numerical results for the disorder-driven superconductor-insulator transition that predict the existence of a novel insulator of pairs. We find that the single particle gap and optical conductivity evolve in unexpected ways across the transition and are supported by recent experiments.
