The 2020 and beyond Women in Physics Canada Conferences call for proposals is now open!

The 2019 Women in Physics Canada Conference will be held at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. More details coming soon!

General information
The conference is generally held in the summer period; the format of the conference consists of student presentations, keynote lectures, interactive workshops, panel discussions and opportunities for networking.

Interested groups or individuals should submit a proposal no later than Friday, January  25th, 2019. The Steering Committee is happy to discuss any aspect of the conference, including possible sources of support, with interested parties.

Proposals should include:

  • Detailed budget (including student travel support)
  • Proposed registration fees
  • Details on affordable accommodations
  • Venue information
  • Conference programming proposal
  • Anticipated participation
  • Organizing team
