Eve Langelier is a full professor at the department of mechanical engineering of Université de Sherbrooke. Chairholder of the NSERC Chair for Women in Science and Engineering in Quebec, she is actively involved in demystifying science and engineering for the population, while providing models of female success in these fields and empowering women who have chosen this path to reach their full potential.

In addition to her work in the field of bioengineering, Prof. Eve Langelier was the regional representative of the NSERC-Alcan Chair for Women in Science and Engineering in Quebec from 2004 to 2006. She is the initiator of the Girls and science, an electrifying duo! activity in Eastern Townships and was a member of the regional organizing committee for the November 2017 Gender Summit 11 in Montreal. She is also a goal manager at the UNESCO SAGA Project.
